The Remedial Process Towards Unwinding the Strands Of Hate - Part III (The intended message of disinformation and instigation is what political and spiritual leaders use to manipulate followers)

In the introduction of this topic, we highlighted some key elements such as experience, intended message, attitude and disposition. We further listed some examples of intended messages among which was disinformation and instigation.

To make it more interesting, we intend to use a story to depict a case where disinformation and instigation are the intended messages of the experience and how that leads to forming a hateful attitude especially in its affective component, revealing fear, disdain, hurt, disappointment, and worry. The cognitive component registers injustice and defiance, and the conative component exhibits frustration and the drive to inflict harm as the elimination program. The disposition expressed will also reveal irrationality, poor judgement, lack of understanding and ego.

Disinformation and instigation as intended messages are mostly encountered through experiences involving political leaders, spiritual leaders, influential voices, those with sizeable following on social media, peer pressure and creative works such as music and movies.

For the disclaimer, this is not a true story, and it is a bit outlandish, but it gives a great case for our discussion.

Billy Bunkers is a well-groomed gentleman, or so he portrays. He has a very impeccable hairline that every man struggling with balding would desire. That hairline is every barber’s delight. Billy Bunkers is heavy on social media and his favourite podcast is Coocoo Pod, a conspiracy theory podcast. In these recent episodes on Coocoo Pod, Astro the Guru is revealing how 80% of men in the UK and USA born between 1965 and 1995 who may have been bald before they turn 45 years are half human and half aliens. He says they obtained alien genes through radioactive exposure during pregnancy, and their mission is to copulate with humans and contaminate the human gene pool as they reproduce offspring of human-alien miscegenation that can eventually dominate the earth.

Now, Billy Bunkers considers Astro the Guru as his master teacher, so he imbibes the message as truthful information, and immediately, he mentally positions himself in a mode of suspicion around bald men that fall within that category. He instantly cultivates intense detestation towards bald men. As he keeps listening to more messages on that conspiracy, his position is reinforced to the extent that seeing guys like the Rock, Boris Kojo, Tyson Fury, Tyrese Gibson, Ne Yo and Vin Diesel excelling in life, triggers him.

He’s seeing a major red flag that Astro the Guru his master teacher is warning about.

At this point the excellence of these baldies from the perspective of Billy Bunkers, is a defiance and injustice to humanity. He’ll argue that “it’s unfair for these bald aliens to come to the earth take advantage of opportunities to become successful whilst real humans are struggling to make ends meet”. He imagines the damage the excellence of these baldies brings to the wellbeing of humanity.

Disinformation and instigation as intended messages are mostly encountered through experiences involving political leaders, spiritual leaders, influential voices, those with sizeable following on social media, peer pressure and creative works such as music and movies.

To add salt to injury, Charlie Bosspet a 35-year-old bald man in Billy Bunkers’ job is living up to his last name, Bosspet by manipulating his way and wining the heart of the boss to secure the promotion that Billy Bunkers has been working so hard for.

That right there reinforces Billy’s frustration. He’s perceiving injustice and he’s deeply hurt. He’s fully convinced that Bosspet is an alien. Bosspet fits the description of the conspiracy theory. Billy is sad, disappointed, worried, anxious, and full of fear that the earth is under ambush. He’s enraged!

And guess what, the Coocoo pod is still going strong with the alien baldies conspiracy theory, so Billy’s conviction has grown immensely. He is convinced it is necessary to eliminate this problem. “It’s a baldies invasion” so he feels, “and it’s my responsible to save humanity from baldies”, so he thinks. He’s livid and ready to do damage. Ready to take out some baldies! A cosmic warrior is born, a man filled with hate is on the loose. Terror is about to strike.

Billy Bunkers’ melancholy has drawn him deep into isolation and his mental health is deteriorating. He’s lost his sense of objectivity and can’t separate reality from delusion.

You may find this to be very outlandish, but it may surprise you that there are real stories more outlandish and ridiculous that have happened, is happening and will happen. The cultivation of hate as shown, is very practical and relatable to real life.

Let’s be Frank. In our daily life we encounter experiences with intended messages of disinformation and instigation that makes us cultivate attitude full of hate towards others because we are made to perceive their life choices, their faith, heritage, ideologies, and political positions as detrimental to our wellbeing and that of our community.

Political leaders, spiritual leaders, influential voices, music, movies, social media platforms and contents are guilty of spreading disinformation and instigations that incite hate in you and recruit you as a follower, a flying monkey, to do their bid of eliminating their opposition. Unfortunately, you’re nothing but a crash dummy for them. It’s good to have an opinion; an ideology, but you can always uphold them without invoking hate. Hate is irrational and very toxic.

Going back to our story, it is easy to judge Billy negatively as a deluded and misinformed person. You may classify him as having a personality disorder but that might not be the case. He is a victim to intended messages of disinformation and instigation. Technically, his frustration is valid, even though it was cultivated on irrational and non-factual claims.

This can happen to you. Many impressionable, intelligent, and independent thinking people have fallen prey to situations even more bizarre than this so beware and avoid speeches, platforms and encounters that parrot disinformation and instigate you to hate others. Don’t be a victim to intended messages of instigation and disinformation.

Until then, let’s keep our hearts Locked in Over and over Vigorously bonding until Eternity.
