People are filled with utter detestation against others for their choices, convictions, beliefs, opinions, lifestyles, identities, and practices because they deem such positions as unacceptable acts of perversions that cause disorderliness in the wellbeing of society.

With the use of algorithmic curation in the free market, this “us against them” mentality has not only become such a lucrative commodity but the source of the brooding spirit of hate that incites people to seek for the elimination of the other through violations and toxic behaviours such as bullying, discrimination, violent extremism, and repressive otherization.

In fact, studies even show that this “us against them” mentality is exacerbating depression, anxiety, obesity, and substance abuse in people, especially the younger generation.

Yes, it is deeply alarming. The time to act is now, and we believe the only potent remedy is to cultivate the Agency of Interconnectedness (The AoIn) in society through schools, universities, spirituality/faith groups and corporations.

When we say “cultivating agency of interconnectedness” we mean nurturing and inspiring humanity to manifest civic values such as equality, diversity, serviceability, charitability, responsibility, and accountability.
